The combination of the Vietnamese nature, history and minority groups makes this tour unforgettable. On the trip, you will do some trekking, visit minority villages with friendly ethnic people, admire the natural beauty of the mountainous areas. Itinerary

Day 1: Hanoi – Lao Cai

Pick-up at the hotel 19:30 – 20:00 and transfer to the train station. From here, you take a night train to Lao Cai. Overnight on train (soft sleeper with A/C).

Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa – Ta Van

Arrival at Lao Cai Station early morning and driving in a shared bus to Sapa (35km). In Sapa town there will be a group meeting, where the tour guide will inform about the rest of the trip. We start trekking around 10:00am to Y Linh Ho and Lao Chai where the the Black H’mong people live. Making a stop for lunch, before continuing our trekking to Ta van village of the Zay people. We have dinner and stay for the night in the Ta van village. Trekking distance: 14km

Day 3: Ta Van – Ban Ho

After breakfast we visit Giang Ta Chai village, where we meet the Red Zao people. After lunch we continue trekking to Ban Ho village, where the Tay people live. We have dinner and stay for the night in Ban Ho village.

Trekking distance: 18km

Day 4: Ban Ho – Sapa

After breakfast you trek up to Su Pan hill (3km). From here you will be picked up and transported back to Sapa. In the afternoon, you will have some spare time to experience the colorful Sapa market.. Overnight stay at Cat Cat Hotel.

Day 5: Sapa – Bac Ha

Note: What market/sightseeing spot you’ll visit depends on what date you depart from Sapa. Therefore make your decision before the tour starts:

Bac Ha Sunday Market is held every Sunday from 7:00 till 14:00. It is a place where all ethnic groups gather for exchanging their homemade products. Later in the afternoon we trek to the Anold castle of the Hmong King.

Can Cau Saturday Market is held every Saturday from 7:00 till 14:00. it is a place where all ethnic groups gather for exchanging their home made products. Later in the afternoon we trek to the Anold castle of the Hmong King.

Coc Ly Tuesday Market is held every Tuesday from 7:00 till 14:00. It is a place where all ethnic groups gather for exchanging their homemade products. We then take a boat trip from Coc Ly Market to Bac Ha city. In the afternoon we trek to Ban Pho village (The flower Hmong is living there).

Day 6: Bac Ha – Ha Giang border town (240km)

After breakfast at the hotel we drive through a beautiful Tay village in a small valley in the mountains. Overnight stay at a hotel in Ha Giang.

Day 7: Ha Giang border town – Nui Coc Lake (251km)

After breakfast at the hotel we drive through a beautiful Tay village and a small valley. We arrive at Nui Coc lake late in the afternoon.

Day 8: Thai nguyen – Ba Be Lake (180km)

In the morning, you take a boat trip on Nui Coc Lake. We leave for Ba Be lake at around 11:00am. When we arrive at Ba Be lake, you check-in at the Tay home stay(basic condition: mosquito net, pillowcase, soft mat, shower … ).

Day 9: Ba Be Lake – homestay

Breakfast is served at the home stay. After breakfast we take a boat trip on Ba Be lake. From the boat you can enjoy the beautiful view of the lake. We make a stop at the stunning Puong Caves and the Dau Dang waterfall. In the afternoon we go back to the Tay village and spend the night at the home stay.

Day 10: Ba Be Lake – Hanoi (250km)

We have our last breakfast together at the home stay, before we leave for Hanoi. The tour ends when we arrive in Hanoi.

Why Private tour – What are difference between Join-in-group tour and Private tour ?

Join-in-group tour: You join the tour some other tourists. You share the bus, boat, tour guide, so the price is cheaper. You have to be on time and follow the fixed itinerary and timetable.

Private tour: The bus, boat and tour guide is reserved for your group only. The timetable and itinerary can be flexible. (For private overnight trip to Halong bay, when booking please confirm if you want to take private boat or group sharing).

Terms of Tour
